A message from the OA Society


OAPresThere are now around 5,000 OAs in 150 countries throughout the world.  This interactive website aims to keep us all connected.  It offers you news, event & sports information and photographs as well as a live link to the OA Society database and the School archive, which members can access by logging in. 

The OA Society and the School work together to provide you with opportunities for social occasions including OA Day, Regional lunches and the annual OA Dinner also continuation of sports and other interests developed at School, valuable networking, career guidance and personal development.

Publications, including the OA Review, may be downloaded by members of the OA Society and personal profiles can be updated with contact details, further education and employment information.  The 'Find your Friends' feature on this website will enable OAs to keep in touch.

We hope to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2021 and to hear their news since leaving Aldenham. An evening awards cermony followed by a drinks reception for the Class of 2021 and their families.

This will be a particularly special occasion as it will be James Fowler’s last as Headmaster.
Guests will be invited to view the facilities in the new Prep School, Vincent House.

Whilst Government guidelines will be adhered to, the Annual OA Dinner will be a great
opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new.

OA Day is an annual summer gathering for former pupils and staff of Aldenham School. For the past two years we had planned to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Beevor's House. We were also keen to mark over 40 years of girls at Aldenham. Due to COVD 19 restrictions, OA Day 2020 and OA Day 2021 had to be postponed and we will take the opportunity to celebrate these two anniversaries when we meet.
The occasion will also be an opportunity to say farewell to James Fowler, Headmaster 2006-Present ...

On Tuesday 5 October 2022 OAs will meet again at last for lunch at The Fox Goes Free, near Goodwood, West Sussex.
This venue is recommended by James James-Crook, President, who will welcome you to his home county for the occasion. It is a beautifully kept 400-year-old country pub restaurant and Inn with a well-respected reputation for wonderful home cooked food, real ales, hand-picked fine wines and friendly, genuine hospitality.
