I think one of the main differences between pre or post war Aldenham is the proportion of boarders to day boys.
In my day there were about 240 boys at the School of which about 11 were day boys.
I was a day boy at Aldenham but, had been a boarder at Prep School for a couple of terms at the Imperial Service College, so I saw both sides of the coin.
There is a big difference.
